Flatiron District, Manhattan

The Flatiron District is more or less the gap between Midtown and Lower Manhattan. The area is named after the Flatiron Building, a thin and gorgeous work of architecture in New York. The Flatiron Building was completed in 1902, thus it is one of the oldest skyscrapers of New York City. The Flatiron District offers nice architecture, many shopping opportunities and fine restaurants.
