Morris Park, The Bronx

Morris Park is a residential working-class neighborhood in the Bronx known for its Italian-American population. As a reflection of its heavily Italian-American and Catholic population, Morris Park was politically conservative and long remained one of the few Republican neighborhoods in the Bronx. The residents still have very close ties to their heritage. The neighborhood has gained a rival reputation with Arthur Avenue in Belmont for being the true Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx. Morris Park is known among New Yorkers for its pizza, supposedly you can get the best pizza in town there. Along Morris Park Avenue you will find numerous pizza places and pasticcerias.
