Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States; it was opened for use in 1883. Stretching over the East River it connects the two boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. Today the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the major landmarks of New York City. Walking over the bridge in the evening is a must for everyone visiting New York.
